Last year, a group of potters of organized a party bus! If you’ve ever done the bus tours at NCECA, you know how much fun it can be to do pottery-hopping with a group of friends!

Catch a show at the historic Paramount Theater. Rock of Ages will be playing the weekend of the tour!

The murals in Aurora are stunning! Take a few min to drive around town to check them out.

The pottery tour is overlapping with the Aurora Pride Parade again this year! Plan ahead— the parade is at noon, and it will be busy. We will post updates on parking recommendations on Sunday!

The Edith Farnsworth House is a Mies van der Rohe house/museum. Tours focus on Edith Farnsworth—her story is amazing! Tours take about 60 min.

Tour the Frank Lloyd Wright homes

Near both the Villa Park and Forest Park stops, there are several sites to visit.

In Oak Brook, a quick drive from Carly and Levi’s home, and Benjamin’s stop…

Lizzadro Museum, a museum of lapidary art.

Great for all ages, (Amy) loved this museum as a kid and teenager.

In Lombard, visit this park with a butterfly garden and a lovely half-mile trail.

Tom Turner has a fantastic collection of pots at his home. By appointment only, reach out to him to tour his gallery. If you geek out about glazes and/or raw materials, stopping by here to talk shop will be a treat!
